HHP101 — Personal Training

3 Credits The course bridges the gap between clinical exercise science related course work and the practical application skills of personal training. Students will learn how to: properly screen and evaluate clients for safe participation in an exercise program, design and implement exercise prescriptions for multiple populations and goal attainment, and apply the principles of exercise in a personal training environment. Prerequisites: BIOL 121 - Anatomy and Physiology 1 - Lecture & Lab Corequisite: HHP 102 - Personal Training Internship
