HHP200 — Exercise Physiology & Lab

4 Credits This course will study the response of the human body to physical activity, exercise and stress. It will examine the affects of: acute and repeated bouts of exercise, environmental factors, gender and age on metabolic, neuromuscular, cardiovascular and respiratory function. The affect of physical activity upon disease, prevention and rehabilitation will be discussed. (*Recommended for students who plan to work in an existing fitness facility.) Prerequisites: BIOL 121 - Anatomy and Physiology 1 - Lecture & Lab
