3 Credits Co-op courses are designed to promote career awareness through cooperative work experience in the specific field. Students integrate classroom theory with a monitored and supervised work experience. Periodic meetings with faculty advisor and written assignments are required. Notes: 225 work hours required. 5 or higher; 9 earned credits in curriculum-required courses and 3 credits in ENG 101 - Writing and Research (or equivalent) for a total of 12 credits; and a major declared in this specific curriculum. For MECH 133, MECH 130 Co-op Education in Mechanical Technology 1 is required.
