MECH180 — Fundamentals of Light and Lasers
Lasers are used in almost all industries and aspects of our lives. This introductory class will teach students the fundamental properties of light and lasers. They will study safety requirements for working with lasers as well as learning to set up optics and the properties of different materials. They will also study the different types of lasers and their uses. There are labs associated with each module. Prerequisites: None
