SOC101 — Introduction to Sociology
3 Credits Designed to introduce students to the basic principles of sociology. Foundational theories and concepts relating to individuals and groups in society are studied. The course emphasizes social structure, social institutions, culture, and various forms of social stratification. Prerequisites: ENG 101 Ready: Successful completion of ENG 92 or ENG 101 or ESL 122 or Course Placement
