3 Credits This course explores the many ethnic and racial groups that are part of the United States, including, but not limited to, diverse peoples categorized as Latino, Asian, African-American, Native American, white, Middle Eastern, and bi/multiracial. Issues related to assimilation, immigration, discrimination, conflict, and pluralism, both in historical and contemporary contexts, are addressed. Prerequisites: SOC 101 - Introduction to Sociology
