ADNR - 1122 Principles of Pharmacology I ADNR - 1122 Principles of Pharmacology I Selected drug classes examined in this course include those affecting the gastrointestinal, central and autonomic nervous, cardiovascular and renal, respiratory, and endocrine systems, as well as those used in the management of pain. Selected prototype agents for each drug classification will be examined, including indications, mechanism of action, contraindications, adverse effects, interactions, routes of administration, nursing implications, and patient-centered teaching.
