CRIM - 2260 Criminal Investigation CRIM - 2260 Criminal Investigation It includes a review of the historical development of criminal investigation and how investigative processes relate to the law enforcement function. The course studies procedures including, but not limited to: properly collecting, organizing, and preserving evidence; using basic investigative tools; examining the primary sources of information; analyzing the importance of writing skills; and reviewing the constitutional (legal) limitations of the investigation.
