ECED - 1610 Infant Practicum ECED - 1610 Infant Practicum This course is designed to provide an understanding of the developmental stages of children from birth through 18 months of age through participation in hands-on learning experiences in selected early childhood care and education settings. Students will develop an awareness of appropriate adult/child interaction and positive employee skills. Basic skills in planning and implementing a daily routine and curriculum activities for infants are presented. Students are required to complete a minimum of 45 clock hours of practical work experience. Lecture Classroom Hours: 15 Practicum/Clinical/Recitation Hours: 45
