ART 310 - International Exposure in Design ART 310 - International Exposure in Design (0-6 credits) Meets GOAL 6 (Fine Arts) and GOAL 8 International and multicultural learning experience in design, documented and assessed under Design faculty supervision. Students participate in an approved international or multicultural activity-such as a faculty-led study-away program or a study abroad program by another department or institution-and complete design-focused reflection, documentation, and, when taken for credit, additional discipline-specific assignments. Prior approval from a Design Academic Advisor is required. Variable credit allows use of the course both to record completion of the program’s international exposure requirement (0 credits) and to grant credit for design-intensive study-away or study abroad experiences (1-6 credits). Grade only. hen demand warrants. May be repeated with different international experiences, subject to program limits. Up to 6 credits may be applied toward Art & Design major or minor requirements.
