BIOL 441 - Comparative Vertebrate Physiology BIOL 441 - Comparative Vertebrate Physiology (3 credits) Lectures and demonstrations provide an understanding of physiological mechanisms in an evolutionary context. Focus will be on organismal physiology, but will also include mechanisms of interaction between the cellular, tissue, organ, and organismal levels. Topics include temperature, water and solutes, respiration/circulation, sensory/nervous systems, endocrinology/reproduction. Grade or P/NC. alternate years. Course Registration
