BIOL 463 - Ecosystem Restoration BIOL 463 - Ecosystem Restoration (4 credits) This course focuses on understanding both the underlying ecological principles and the practical, field-based aspects of ecosystem restoration. Students gain hands-on skills in site assessment, seed mix design, vegetation monitoring, data analysis, invasive species management, and prescribed fire. As a semeter project, students write a restoration plan proposal for a local site. Grade only. alternate years (usually spring semester). Course Registration
