BUSA 361 - Negotiations and Influence BUSA 361 - Negotiations and Influence (3 credits) Negotiations are a critical part of your professional and personal lives. This course examines the theory and practice of negotiation and trains students to be effective, strategic, and ethical negotiators. Topics covered include theories, style and techniques of negotiations, contract negotiation, how to influence others, alternative dispute resolution, and ethical aspects of negotiation and dispute resolution. Students will participate in discussions and skill-building assignments, and engage in negotiation role-plays to hone their skills. Grade only. alternate years or when demand warrants.
