EDFD 300 - Teaching, Learning, and Schooling For the 21st Century EDFD 300 - Teaching, Learning, and Schooling For the 21st Century (3 credits) Meets GOAL 9. The purpose of this course is to critically examine the social interactions, historical trends, cultural complexities, pedagogical movements, and philosophical foundations of schooling and the teaching profession. Students will critique their own educational experiences and reflect upon their own beliefs and values about teaching, learning, and schooling. Emphasis is placed on topics and tensions in the relationship between school and society and the implications for 21st century educators. Grade only. each semester. Course Registration
