EEOL 335 - STEM Field Experience: Collaborations, Instruction & Student Learning EEOL 335 - STEM Field Experience: Collaborations, Instruction & Student Learning (3 credits) STEM Field Experience is a clinically rich, practice-based course that involves teacher candidates in the design and delivery of engaging, inquiry-based STEM instruction for elementary learners. Grounded in constructivist and experiential learning theories, this course emphasizes collaboration, cultural responsiveness, and reflective practice. Candidates will plan and implement hands-on STEM lessons during a multi-day field experience in partnership with local schools, applying pedagogical strategies that develop student motivation, ownership of learning, and innovation. Emphasis is placed on developing instructional practices aligned with the Minnesota Standards of Effective Practice, with a focus on creating inclusive, innovative learning environments that support all learners in thinking and acting like scientists, engineers, technologists, and mathematicians.
