GEOS 325 - Environmental Geoscience GEOS 325 - Environmental Geoscience (3 credits) Meets GOAL 10. Study of the environmental implications of human interactions with natural geological systems. An emphasis is placed on understanding environmental science concepts and how scientific findings ultimately shape public policy and political decisions. Topics typically include climate change, water resources, alternative energy resources, soils and weathering, and coastal processes. Course is taught from an Earth systems perspective.
