GEOS 365 - Sedimentology and Stratigraphy GEOS 365 - Sedimentology and Stratigraphy (4 credits) An introduction to the physical, chemical, and biological processes that affect sedimentation and depositional systems. Also explores stratigraphic nomenclature and correlation, facies models and depositional sequences, eustatic sea level changes, and plate tectonics. Lecture, laboratory and required field trips.
