HERS 321 - Health Education Methods 2: Health Skills HERS 321 - Health Education Methods 2: Health Skills (3 credits) Students will demonstrate competency in foundational health skills including analyzing influences, accessing information, interpersonal communication, decision making, self-management, and advocacy. Students will be able to apply these skills to the following health education topics: use of alcohol, drugs, and tobacco; healthy eating; mental and emotional health; personal health and wellness; physical activity; safety; sexual health; and violence prevention. Students will demonstrate competency in planning, instruction, and assessment of PK-12 health education curriculum related to these topics. Grade only. annually. Course Registration
