HLA 451 - Managing Projects in Healthcare HLA 451 - Managing Projects in Healthcare (3 credits) This course introduces and examines project management through both theoretical and practice approaches. Professionally recognized project management tools, techniques, processes and methods will be explored for effectively and efficiently managing projects throughout the project lifecycle. This course will explore the importance of leadership and teamwork in accomplishing the processes of project management, including project identification, initiation, planning, executing, controlling and closing a project. Restricted to undergraduate programs in Healthcare Leadership & Administration or Public Health, or instructor permission and notification of HLA Program Director. Grade only. annually.
