JPN 303 - Special Topics in Advanced Japanese JPN 303 - Special Topics in Advanced Japanese (1-4 credits) An advanced-level Japanese language course that explores selected themes through the integrated study of language and culture. Students develop high-intermediate to advanced grammar, vocabulary, and discourse skills through authentic materials, including media, literature, and contemporary texts. Emphasis is placed on fluency and discourse competence across speaking, listening, reading, and writing while deepening understanding of language within its cultural contexts.
