LGLS 373 - Civil Procedure LGLS 373 - Civil Procedure (3 credits) This course serves as an introduction to the procedure that governs lawsuits. Basic civil court procedures, such as pleadings; initial fact finding interviewing, pre-trial discovery; trials and appeals; background of the adversary system; the role of the advocate, judge and jury in the search for justice. The course also has a practical element requiring students to draft a petition, drafts all types of discovery, and summarize a deposition. Grade only. annually. Course Registration
