LGLS 376 - Criminal Procedure LGLS 376 - Criminal Procedure (3 credits) Supplements LGLS 373 - Civil Procedure and covers the study of the general principles of criminal law and the specific elements of particular crimes. This course examines the sources of criminal law, criminal pleadings, the grand jury system, the basic proof requirements for specific crimes, criminal pretrial discovery, various defenses to criminal liability, jury instructions, post-trial sentencing, requirements of a fair hearing, and constitutional appeals and legal defenses.
