NURS 301 - Health and Medicine: An International Perspective NURS 301 - Health and Medicine: An International Perspective (4 credits) Meets GOAL 8. This course is an interdisciplinary travel program designed to expose students to medicine and health in a society outside of the United States. Students will engage in different learning opportunities including peer group presentations, lectures/discussions from specialists in their field, placement in clinical sites to interact with peers and mentors from the United Kingdom, and hands-on learning experiences in various settings. This course will meet multiple times during the spring semester prior to the travel portion of the course. Other majors accepted with instructor approval. Grade only. as part of travel study program.
