PESS 111 - Motor Development, Fundamental Movements, and Play PESS 111 - Motor Development, Fundamental Movements, and Play (3 credits) This course examines the connection between the developmental characteristics of PK-2nd grade children, elementary physical education content, and play-based learning.. Students will explore the fundamental movement skills, movement concepts, and the role these play in children’s physical literacy journeys. Instruction will emphasize developmentally appropriate practices and educational games that provide meaningful movement experiences for children.
