PESS 326 - Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Methods in Middle School and Junior High Physical Education PESS 326 - Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment Methods in Middle School and Junior High Physical Education (3 credits) The focus of this course is to provide future physical educators with the pedagogical knowledge to effectively plan, instruct, and assess diverse middle school and junior high school students through research based instructional models within a pre-determined curriculum design process that takes into account state and national physical education standards. Pre-service physical educators will learn how to implement each model by engaging in lectures, group discussions and activities, lesson planning, teaching, and assessing of their peers.
