POLS 218 - Civic Engagement POLS 218 - Civic Engagement (3 credits) Meets GOAL 9. Democratic theory calls for participation of citizens not only in decision-making but also in community affairs. Students will be the opportunity to be involved in their community by volunteering their services and time to not-for-profit organizations as a civic engagement.
