POLS 240 - Global Environmental Problems and Policy POLS 240 - Global Environmental Problems and Policy (3 credits) Meets GOAL 8 and GOAL 10. An examination of environmental problems and controversies distinguished by their international or global magnitude. Students will explore a range of global environmental challenges, such as population pressure, sustainable development, pollution, species loss, climate change, war, and associated governmental and non-governmental systems to address these challenges. Special emphasis is placed on the evaluation of current and prospective policies for managing global environmental problems. Grade only. annually (usually fall semester). Course Registration
