RTTR 370 - Festival and Special Event Planning RTTR 370 - Festival and Special Event Planning (3 credits) This course introduces students to the details of festival and special event planning, implementation, and evaluation from the perspective of the recreation and/or tourism professional. Following an introduction to concepts of special event/festival planning, implementation, and evaluation, students become experientially involved with the critical analysis of a special event or festival. Student analysis of the assigned special event/festival will integrate all phases of the recreation experience (anticipation, travel to, the experience itself, travel from, and recollection).
