SPAN 305 - Practical Phonetics SPAN 305 - Practical Phonetics (3 credits) The three goals for this course are to: 1) examine the Spanish language sound system (phonetics) through a linguistic-theoretical methodology, 2) develop toward native-like pronunciation, and 3) survey dialectal variation in terms of phonetic differences in socio-historical context.
