EDU201 — Foundations of Reading

This course examines the theories, processes and acquisition of reading and language arts as well as cognitive, linguistic, social and physiological factors involved in oral and written language development. This course meets the “early childhood, elementary and special education – process and acquisition of reading” requirement of the Maryland State Department of Education.

Prerequisites: EDU102, ENG101, PSY251
