ENG207 — Introduction to Latinx Literature

This course introduces students to a variety of contemporary literary texts written by Chicano, Puerto Rican, Cuban American, Dominican American and other Latinx writers. Through an analysis of works of different genres, the course explores major issues impacting the U.S. Latinx community, including identity politics, language, race, gender, sexuality, social class and emigration.
