NUR223 — Advanced Nursing II

This course focuses on the nursing care of adults with self-care deficits and complex health problems. The nursing process, the best current evidence and critical thinking are used to meet the psychosocial, cultural and physiological needs of clients with complex health problems in a variety of health care settings and the community. Accountability for practice within the legal and ethical scope and framework of nursing is integrated into student-centered learning to students develop leadership and management skills for the nurse as manager of care and delegator.

Prerequisites: NUR216, NUR222, BIO220, ENG151
