OFT101 — Introduction to Computers
This course introduces students to the fundamentals of information processing and computer literacy. Students gain a working vocabulary of computer hardware and software, networking and data communication. Through hands-on exercises, students learn the basic skills required to utilize an operating system, email and the internet. Students acquire basic and intermediate skills in word processing and spreadsheet applications. Keyboarding skills are recommended.
