PTA270 — Clinical Practice III
This final clinical experience course is an eight-week assignment in a hospital, extended care facility, rehabilitation facility, specialty facility or outpatient facility. Students are expected to build on their prior knowledge and clinical experiences to progress to entry-level competence as physical therapist assistants. Students are expected to complete a service project for the host facility as agreed upon with the clinical instructor. Clinical Hours: 320. Course Fee: $80. Materials Fee: $45. Insurance Fee: $30. Usually in the spring.
