WLD116 — Structural Arc Welding
This course provides comprehensive training in structural arc welding techniques, focusing on root plate welding using backing strips in accordance with AWS structural welding code and recognized industry best practices. Students will develop the skills necessary for high-quality welds on structural steel plates, emphasizing proper fit-up, root pass execution and the use of backing strips for full penetration welds.
