BIO105 — Principals of Biology for Science Majors
4 Credit(s) Principles of Biology is a course that introduces students to the scientific method and the fundamental concepts of biology. The primary focus of the course is cell and molecular biology. Emphasis is placed on chemistry, energy, metabolism, cell reproduction, and biotechnological applications. Selected topics of genetics and evolution are presented. Physiology is intertwined throughout the course. The course is intended for Associate of Science majors with a Biology Concentration and includes both a lecture and a lab component.
