BIO115 — Anatomy and Physiology II
3 Credit(s) This course is a continuation of BIO 114 with a study of endocrine, immune, lymphatic, cardiovascular, digestive, respiratory, excretory, and reproductive systems. Other topics of the course include blood, nutrition, diet, energy balance, electrolyte balance, acid-base balance, pregnancy, human development, and heredity. The students are expected to develop knowledge and understanding of the appropriate terminology and apply the basic physiological concepts such as homeostasis to describe the body systems in normal and selected pathological conditions. This course includes both a lecture and a lab component.
