HS210 — Intro to Case Management & Counseling
3 Credit(s) In this course students will gain knowledge of the different theories relevant to the fields of social work, human services, and counseling, and the practices, skills, and techniques used in the ing professions. It will focus on working with different client populations and practice settings, and special considerations involved with providing crisis intervention, behavior management, and other specialized services. It will also focus on record-keeping, documentation, and understanding how to resolve dilemmas involving professional values and ethics.
