PTRM115 — Sucker Rod Pumping

3 Credit(s) This course trains the student in the operation of sucker rod pumping (SRP), also called beam pumping, for the purpose of extracting liquids from oil, gas, and/ or water wells. Students learn about the applicability and applications of SRP technology. Components of the SRP are discussed and students practice operation of a SRP with a simulator.
