WELD202 — Beginning MIG
3 Credit(s) This course introduces students to the safety, nomenclature and set up procedures for gas and metal arc welding (MIG). Students will perform open Single-V-Groove welds on plate without backing. Students will weld in all four positions. Additional topics include wire specifications, joint design, shielding gasses, and production of beads and joints.
