BIO 124 — Animal Anatomy and Physiology I

/3 contact hours This course is the first of a two–semester sequence that examines the basic principles of animal anatomy and physiology. Structure–function relationships are examined at all levels throughout the course, as well as comparisons between cat, dog, horse, a ruminant, and smaller domesticated animals. Topics include anatomical terminology, cell structure and function, tissue organization and the skeletal, muscular and cardiovascular systems. Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s): BIO 125 Core fulfilled: IV (Lab Science)
