/3 contact hours General Chemistry I provides a comprehensive examination of the fundamental concepts of chemistry including matter and energy, atomic structure and atomic theory and chemical bonding and chemical reactions. A two–fold emphasis on understanding the molecular interactions that underlie everything around us and developing and strengthening problem solving skills will be utilized as central themes in all discussions.
