EDU 215 — Positive Learning Environments

/3 contact hours This course examines best practices for creating positive and inclusive learning environments. Students will explore strategies for building positive relationships within the classroom, as well as outside of the classroom. Students will learn the components of research-based frameworks for promoting positive behaviors, as well as strategies for addressing challenging ones. The course will also cover how to construct a comprehensive classroom management plan. Prerequisite(s): EDU 102 Core fulfilled: None
