NUR 201 — Nursing Across the Lifespan II

/17 contact hours The student will continue to develop skills to provide holistic, evidence-based, culturally competent nursing care for increasingly complex patients with acute and chronic conditions. Concepts of nutrition, communication, pharmacology, and teaching-learning are integrated. In addition to medical-surgical nursing, there is also a focus on concepts of family and child development from conception through adolescence. Students continue developing the role of the nurse and clinical reasoning to guide evidence-based, therapeutic nursing interventions. This class has laboratory and clinical components.
