PMT 111 — Basic Manual Milling and Holemaking
/1 contact hours This course is intended to teach the fundamental principles of hole-making and manual knee mill operations. Students will learn the use of both a drill press and manual mill and will practice skills associated with this equipment in a machine shop environment. Prior knowledge and experience with mechanical print reading, basic precision measurement skills, and calculating speeds and feeds are recommended, but not required. OSHA-10 certification is required before students are allowed to use shop equipment. Prerequisite(s): None Corequisite(s) None Core fulfilled: None
