PMT 124 — CAM Programming for 3-axis Mill
/1 contact hours This course will introduce the student to the practice of using a Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) system to program 3-axis CNC mills. Students will gain competency in setting up machine parameters, tool packages, and fixturing within the CAM system. Students will learn how to output G&M code through a post-processor to machine parts on a 3-axis Computer Numeric Control (CNC) mill, and will demonstrate mastery of the subject matter by completing a series of in-shop projects.
