SWO 100 — Special Topics in Social Work

/3 contact hours This course is designed to introduce students to both a depth and breadth of social work topics that expand a student’s knowledge of the field. Topics may include, but are not limited to, new research on working with specific populations, and treatment modalities; all topics will include a critical understanding of related ethical issues. Topics discussed will be outside of those carried in the catalog on a regular basis offering the flexibility of addressing current and relevant concerns in the field.
