The Registered Nurse program prepares the graduate at the Associate Degree level with the skills
and knowledge necessary to function in the role of the Registered Nurse. Graduates are prepared to function as the provider of care, manager of care, and member within the discipline of nursing. The graduate is prepared to provide evidenced-based, holistic, client-centered nursing care to a diverse population in a variety of settings. Students develop competency and confidence in client assessment, clinical decision-making skills, and use of advanced technology. Knowledge of teaching-learning principles are acquired and integrated into all aspects of care.
