Upon acceptance to the YCCC Nursing Program, students will have additional non-academic
requirements: • Laptop • Uniforms • Professional Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association) • Students must provide their own transportation to and from clinical settings Criminal Background Check Final acceptance into the York County Community College nursing program is subject to a criminal background check prior to beginning the program and then annually. Further instructions will be given upon admission to the nursing program. Health Requirements The applicant must submit proof to the Nursing Program of the following: • MMR: Measles, Mumps, Rubella An official record of an immune titer must be provided for each • HBV: Hepatitis B: 3 Doses An official record of an immune titer must be provided following completion of the series.
