48 hours Designed for the person who has little or no knowledge of basic electrophysiology and arrhythmia identifi cation. Participants are able to relate cardiac rhythms to physiologic occurrences and interpret their degree of clinical signifi cance. Also prepares participants to operate an EKG (electrocardiogram) machine in a variety of work settings. Topics include basic arrhythmia identifi cation, patient preparation, various leads, and basic EKG interpretation.
